Multiple Tractor Trailer Crash Closes I-276 West In Eastern PA: Reports

A crash involving multiple tractor-trailers has Interstate 276 West closed in Bucks County, according to several reports.

The crash happened at mile marker 351.5 in Bensalem Township around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, according to reports from 6abc Action News and NBC 10.

One tractor-trailer appeared to have struck the rear of a box truck while another tractor-trailer struck the center median, the Action News report states. A third tractor-trailer jackknifed across the westbound lanes of travel.

There is no word on injuries or how long the road will be closed, according to the Action News report. Daily Voice reached out to the Pennsylvania State Police and PennDOT for additional details.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Travel Advisories webpage listed the left lane of I-276 West blocked between Bensalem and Willow Grove, as well as the right shoulder of I-276 East as of 10:15 a.m.
